I’m a 20-something year old newlywed (!!!!) and full time gov’t worker who has a PASSION for cooking(and eating).  I started messing around in the kitchen back in High School when I was told by my mom that if I wanted to eat differently from the  rest of the family I would have to make my own dinners.  Through trial and error (mostly error) I have created some rather interesting recipes and Dancing Veggies has become my outlet for sharing them.  I am primarily an ovo-lacto-vegetarian but on occasion some fish will show up along with vegan recipes so it all balances out.

My blog focuses on recipes that are simple and QUICK, with ingredients that can easily be found at the local market.  I also have a sweet tooth so expect to see some quick and easy dessert recipes as well!  I’m pushing myself to be more adventurous in my cooking, with both ingredients and cooking styles while focusing on seasonal ingredients.

    1. you were missing nothing – I was apparently in need of caffeine! Recipe is fixed, I used one shot of Smirnoff vodka and added it with the spices once the tomatoes had cooked for the first 20 minutes.
